This looks very similar to what KDE 4.1 is already offering today or what it will bring with KDE 4.2 when released in January.
what's bad with the current gnome look ?
WHY the jack everybody wants to look like mac vista ?
My desktop is not a circus. I want to work and play, but please, no more of the vista junk.

I do most of my work in a terminal BUT this looks like a modern desktop. Great to see the Gnome team is looking to the future rather than getting bogged down in the past.
Maybe on of the Gnome Desktop Settings could have the options 'Classic' or 'Modern'- those not wanting to move into 2010 could still choose Gnome Classic and those moving forward could choose Gnome Modern. That way everyones happy. =)
