Ultimate Music Player For Linux - DeaDBeeF

DeaDBeeF (as in 0xDEADBEEF) is an audio player for GNU/Linux systems with X11 (though now it also runs in plain console without X, in FreeBSD, and in OpenSolaris).

DeaDBeeF features:

DeaDBeeF Installation:
For Ubuntu 9.10 and higher user,install DeadBeef from PPA by using following commands in
Applications->Accessories->terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:alexey-smirnov/deadbeef
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install deadbeef
After successful installation you can find DeaDBeeF under: Application >  Sound & Video > DeaDBeeF


OpenSuSe user can install DeaDBeeF using "1-click" installer from packman
